Last Lesson
So far we have learned to make 3D shapes by revolutions and extrusions. In all cases, the sketches we've created to extrude or revolve have been created on the XY/YZ/XZ planes. Now, we will learn how to sketch on other planes in order to create more complicated shapes.
Evaluation
You will know if you've met the goal if you can successfully use and explain how to use the various planbe and point tools. Your evidence will be:
- Your notes from the video
- The part files you create using these tools.

As you watch the video below, please take detailed notes in your notebook. You may pause or rewind the video as necessary. If you finish early, open inventor and practice with the tool.
You Do It Alone
Use Inventor to make shapes similar to those pictured below. For some, you may have to use other sketches to provide reference points in order to create the necessary planes to sketch on.
